I've been robbed!

Somebody stole my summer!

How is it already nearly September?! I had so many plans, so much to do . . . and yet here we are. The kids are heading back to school (brace yourself Bostonians, we're being invaded)  and the leisurely days of summer are starting to fade into the background.

So before we call the summer a total loss lets see what mischief we can get into this Labor Day Weekend.


Boston

Boston Arts Festival
Description: In its 11th year this year's festival highlights include the NPR radio storytelling program, the Moth, the Animal Hospital Ensemble featuring upwards of 20 musicians surrounding the audience with experimental music and poet and local author Nick Flynn, reciting his poetry.

Description: A Boston tradition Saint Anthony's Feast is an outdoor festival that takes place in Boston's predominantly Italian-American North End District. Nearly 100 push cart vendors and amusements will line Endicott Street, offering everything from Italian-style sausages to games of chance. There is a main stage set up with continuous live entertainment. The Feast honors Saint Anthony of Padua and Saint Lucia, patron saint of the blind.

Orange Street Fair

Musical Monday: Sujari Britt

This week's musical monday is a little bit different as it recognizes Sujari Britt, an 11 year old cello prodigy, who some how just found her way onto my radar.

The cello is perhaps my favorite instrument so seeing this young lady performing at the White House, along side the likes of Alisa Weilerstein at the ripe old age of 9 who can help but take notice.
